4WheelDrive asked Veloxigo team to help build their B2B / B2C eCommerce store, that would scale and keep up with the business growth.
Our Approach
We started with user research and strategy workshops, building a solid understanding of the pain points,
opportunities, and goals. We also analyzed the existing 4WheelDrive site to discover what was working and what can be
improved. This led to a game plan that would guide the rest of the project, user personas based on
data, and a vetted feature backlog that took user needs, business requirements, and costs into account.
Once we had a good understanding of the business goals, current processes & features, new features to add, and features that
will be implemented in the future, we stratagized our future-proof structure.
4WheelDrive had fallen behind their competitors with their old site, so ensuring this new scalable architecture
supports their growing needs was very important.
Our core objective was to build a fully responsive B2B / B2C eCommerce store offering the business owners/admins to access it
from any computer or mobile device. Some of the features implemented:
-
User management, role access and permission controls
-
Digitized Product Catalog (Aftermarket Product Data Integration)
-
Advanced Product Search, and SEO Engine
-
Vehicle look-up by Year / Make / Model
-
Integrated Shopping Cart
-
Content Management System (CMS)
-
Advanced Aftermarket eCommerce Features
-
Powerful reporting and statistics of sales, orders and customers
-
Responsive and Optimized Design
Technology
Our Architects and specialist have chosen the most suited and versatile technology stack for 4WheelDrive.
The site benefits from a wealth of technologies, methodologies, design patterns and hottest platforms such as;
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Mongo DB, SQL Server, Elastick Cash (ELK), Redis, a comprehensive B2B CMS that focus on feature richness and simplicity
and a suite of other cutting-edge libraries and technologies.
This is an ongoing project - Stay tuned!
